In the summer, it’s almost always sunny and warm in Cupertino. Conversely, it’s often cloudy, foggy, and cool in San Francisco. There’s usually huge puffy clouds blanketing the hills along 280, and north towards the city. Riding in to work on the shuttle in the morning sort of feels like slowly waking up. Things get brighter, your eyes open more, and energy fills your body. Coming home after a long day feels like getting back into bed. A big cool blanket comes over you, the lights go down, and you find yourself drifting off to sleep.
This hypnotic effect of the shuttle bus is one of the things I love most about my daily commute.
