I’m not much for American muscle cars, but I have to admit, these tuner mustangs are pretty freakin’ dope.

Mazda Dockable Entertainment System Utilizes... →
This has to be some kind of a joke. The Mazda CX-9 has a “dockable” (???) entertainment system with support for the Game Boy Advance. Which is kind of cool, except the GBA came out 7 years ago and no long has any games being made for it. Even the current generation portable Nintendo console, the Nintendo DS, came out as much as 4 years ago, why couldn’t they get that? Mind...

Design will destroy us all. →
Seriously, Garmin. Do you really expect me to sort through the different features of over 30 different GPS devices that all look pretty much the exact same to try to find the one I want? This is website has terrible usability.

Canon's eye-based biometric photo watermarking... →
This is fucking COOL. Imagine taking a picture with your camera, and having the viewfinder use the biometric data of your iris to tag the picture as being taken by you. SO COOL. Now we just too make the camera high enough resolution so that it can get the biometric data of the irises of the people in the pictures, and tag them too. ;)

Edmonton Journal - New traffic device slows down... →
Transport Canada did some research where they hooked up GPS receivers to cars so that they were speed limited depending on where they were. The article muses that “one day” cars could require such a device. It will never work: Besides the obvious points about sometimes needing the ability to speed to be safe, it would be ridiculously easy to find the GPS receiver and wrap it in...

“Opencongress.org is a website for keeping track of the U.S. Congress. (previously) But, now it also a social network. So, sign-up and see what your favourite Senator has been doing, track bills and, follow important issues. Then, share that information with your friends or write about it on your blog.” I wish Canada had something like this.
